Now to be really happy, you will need to avoid blaming other people for whatever happens to you, why? Because blaming other will only add more problems to your life. Another area I want you to take a look at if you really want to be happy, is to also stop dwelling on your past mistake. I know that the past is valuable; you would feel better if you learn from your past mistake and let it go freely without you looking back at it again. Yes, it is easier said than done, but it all depends on your focus. When something negative happens to you, see that as a chance to learn something you didn’t know. When someone makes a mistake, see that as an opportunity to be kind, forgiving, and understanding.
Dwelling on your past mistake won’t make you feel happy, take it as just a training, it’s not a definition of who you are. You can think about what actually went wrong, but doing it in a way to find a sure solution to it when it does occurs again. [Also read; The Secrets to happy and prosperous marriage]
Above all
Happiness is a very subjective factor in one’s life. Being happy doesn’t depend on achieving what you want, but rather making the best out of what is given. Life isn’t fair, it never was. The only thing that can make you completely happy is contentment. Be contented with what you have, but be sure to aim high and never stop believing you can do better every time. Then again, if all else fails, don’t forget that an ordinary you has an extraordinary God to back you up.
Cheer and be happy!
