Why You Should Not Give Up In Your Relationship And Marriage
There is this saying that, if you cannot beat them, then you will have to join them. Ever since I heard about this statement, it keeps me wondering why should I have to join them.
Why not leave them, why not look for like-minded people like you to form a formidable group and beat them inasmuch as you’re fighting them for a just cause.
If truly you have a strong desire in what you believe, you will see clearly why you don’t have to join them even if you’re defeated several times.
Why am I beginning this article with this debatable statement?
Here is what I want you to get from the statement – Never should give up your nature to make positive impact in people’s life just because you’re surrounded with people of negative minds.
Hold up to what is right and just, you will not be judge because of what people think about you, you won’t be rewarded on the basis of being surrounded with people of negative mind-set when you forget about being YOU rather than being them.
In all sphere of life, there are challenges, singles face challenges, married people face challenges, being in relationship has its own challenges, and when you get married, there is also challenges in marriage. Should you have to give up just because the challenges are overwhelming?
Did you even know that some challenges are there to get you focus, to make you stronger which will give you the opportunity to be who you want to be?
Be positive and continue to show love and care to people around even if your families and friends are being hostile to you for being the kind of person you really want to be.
Before I stop this short encouraging blog post, let me share a short story with you right now.
There was this man that saw a scorpion almost drowning in water. This man tries to save the scorpion by sticking out his finger to lift the scorpion out of the water, but the scorpion stung him, the man tried it for the second time, and the scorpion stung him again. This man is determined to save the scorpion, and as he’s about trying to save it for the third time, another man comes out and started questioning the first man.
He said why are you so wicked to yourself? Look at how this scorpion stung your finger twice now and you still want to save it.
Then the first man replied; It is the nature of scorpion to sting and it is my nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because it is the nature of scorpion to sting?
So, I tell you today, irrespective of what you are facing in your personal life, in your relationship life and or in your marital life, don’t give up caring, don’t give up loving, don’t give up your goodness even if everyone around you including your families and friends sting.
Remember that you don’t have to join bad gang simply because you cannot beat them.
