Some people wrongfully pretend that everything around them is perfectly fine during or after a divorce.  They go to work and stick to their usual daily routine and try hard to keep everything as normal as it could be.  But, only to find later that they have become more depressed because they were no longer as productive as before.  Then, frustration sets in. This is why you need to take a break. If you can have vacations from work then do it.  File a leave for a couple of days and enjoy the company of your friends.  This way, you will be able to recharge your senses and still keep your sanity despite the divorce. Start your day with an exercise regimen, get into a dance class, write a journal and indulge in new hobbies.

Most of all, you need to keep in mind those things that you need. Stop thinking about what you have lost but rather think about those things that you need to enable you to regain your life and live it to the fullest. Life is so beautiful to waste it on grieving.
