This year edition of African Fashion & Design Week is offering something different because five best fashion designers who participate will be sent to UK in Brooklyn Fashion Week February 2013, UK. This year event will display the best in African and International fashion and design, with design exhibitions running during the daytime, and runway shows in the afternoon, press conferences, private cocktail parties for sponsors, VIPs, designers and celebrities, and live performances by top Nigerian musical artists.
It is organised by Bluepearl Services International (BSI), and it is poised for global recognition with an aim to promote the business of fashion in Africa, nurture emerging talent, and take local talent global whilst bringing home global talent local.
